Nathan Lasker is a Sydney based artist and graduate of the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) from Sydney College of the Arts. His research area is Nothingness and negation in the visual arts, the boundaries between representation and abstraction and how Nothingness serves as a philosophical key in dissecting these binaries. Using photography, video, and installation, Nathan investigates the slippages that occur in technology and the point when these technologies fail and the traces of Nothingness are revealed.

Nathan Lasker also works collaboratively with Akira Lasker as a loose twin collaborative where they explore the affective significance of private acts and how they reflect on contemporary society.
